This tank mechanic is called laser shell - when you hit an enemy tank with a blind shot it marks the place where the enemy got hit that is visible for your teammates for a short amount of time (it sounds great on the paper but in reality random teams won't react to it majority of the time; playing in a platoon is necessary to take advantage of it).
The continuation of the feature - if a tank is spotted and you hit it, the enemy will be spotted for a longer time and it will take 10% more damage from your team (this effect lasts approximately 12 seconds).
Other than that, you play it like a typical light tanks - spotting/doing damage.
